Growing Instructions:
Does best in cool summers or mild spring seasons, tends to dislike hot and humid summers. Does best in sun or part shade, and moderate water – Preferring more shade in hotter climates and more water in hotter/sunnier locations. You can start seeds indoors a couple of months (6-8 weeks) before the final frost date and transplant them outdoors once they have been acclimated to the new outdoor location. Otherwise when planting outside space plants out about a foot and use several seeds per spot as germination can be slow and uneven. Keep seeds moist until they sprout at which point they can receive moderate water. Additional seeds may be plated mid-summer and mid-spring to ensure a constant harvest.
Pinch back flower spikes as they appear to prolong the life and flavor of the foliage.
