4in Potted Plant
Name: Senecio articulatus (Penis Plant)
Scientific Name: Curio articulatus
With its odd segmented and sausage shaped stems, this plant sticks out even while dormant and leafless. When it produces leaves during the growing season, the purple undersides stand out against the naturally ashy blue-green of the stems. It does flower as well, however the blooms are not its most appealing feature and are often overlooked. Like many succulents care is easy and relatively maintenance free. Drought resistance and simple requirements makes these a great indoor plant for any decently lit room or office.

Does best in a light well draining soil mix – cactus mix or similar. The soil should be dry to the touch when you water, and should not be watered again until the soil has time to dry. Does not require full or direct sun, and will actually thrive more in dappled or part shade. Easily propagated from cuttings.
